Take a day off

October 30, 2010 By Jim Raffel

A while back (too long a while as I write this and think about it) I actually took a whole day off working. We got up early and drove to Madison, WI where we had breakfast with our friend Krista whom we met because of the wonders of social media. Then, we went to my very first Badger game.

On the way back to our car we got to experience one of those events you miss by watching sports on TV. The famed UW marching band, in fact marches all the way back to the Music department after the game. (It’s a short video take a peek these “kids” love what they do.)

So, my advice – take a day off and go experience something new. I’m writing a few posts Friday afternoon so that today I won’t be working. You may see me on Twitter, I may jot an idea down here or there but I’m taking the day off to have some fun. Then, it’s a sprint to Thanksgiving.

See you tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚
