Yep, we are already trying something new! Jim and I have a new tactic for our #shehechat on Twitter today. (It’s at 8 p.m. CST tonight, kids. Make sure you tune in!)
For the first two rounds of #shehechat, Jim and I randomly picked topics to discuss during the actual chat. However, when we met earlier this week, we found that we liked two topics that had multiple questions and angles involved and, because they are slightly more complicated, we decided to share those topics with you ahead of time.
I know, I know. Sharing the topics ahead of time isn’t a normal routine with chats. But Jim and I agreed that we really wanted the participants (this means YOU) to be able to give the topics some thought before we dived into our hour-long chat.
As always, Jim and I have our own thoughts on these topics and they do differ. But we want to hear your thoughts too!
The first topic
What is the most powerful social media network for you personally and in a business sense?
Our prediction is that you use a different network for each. Or maybe you don’t. But we want to hear your reasoning behind your decision. If you have a new product launching, what social media network do you turn to first to announce it? If your eldest son just graduated from high school, where do you post the pictures?
The second topic
How much do you care about your score?
By this, we mean any social media network that actually keeps score. Do you check in everywhere you go on Foursquare so you can move up on your local leaderboard? Is checking your Klout score the first thing you do every morning when you sign on to your computer? Are you using Hashable and are you concerned about your hashcred? There are more networks that fit into this category. Feel free to bring them into the conversation.
We’re excited to bring you another #shehechat tonight. We hope you can join us. Again, #shehechat occurs every Thursday at 8 p.m. CST. Below are some links to familiarize yourself with our subject matter if you’re new. Hope to hear from you tonight!
