No, I am not going to go on a rant about always being wrong. There is a world of difference between “I’m never right” and “I’m always wrong.”
I’m always wrong projects a defeated and negative attitude. At least that’s the way I see it.
I’m never right pushes me to challenge my own ideas with creativity and outside the box thinking. By outside the box I mean way outside the box. Go beyond what you know you don’t know all the way to what you don’t even know you don’t know.
I’m never done. OK, well some day I’ll be cremated and my ashes spread to the wind but until then none of my projects are complete. Complete infers perfect or can’t get any better. As long as the work you’ve done remains relevant keep looking for ways to improve on your past successes even when that means admitting you did it wrong the first, second or even thirteenth time.
Keep asking yourself, “if I started over today….”
