Change is a constant – right?
Sometimes change affects you positively and other times negatively.
Sometimes you accept change willingly and other times, not so much.
I met a man this week who does not seem to accept change willingly but he does approach it positively. He argued and fought with a large group of us but not by bitching, moaning and complaining. Instead, my new friend challenged all of us to expose the positive in the change that had been put in place.
I’m not even sure he realized what he was doing. I learned from him that you don’t have to love the change. The faster you find something positive in the change, however, the more likely you are to not let the change slow you down.
How do you feel about change?

Odd how we both wrote about change today…. most be a popular subject. As for me I enjoy a change every once in a while, especially if it is a positive one in my life. But that is a great attitude your new friend has.

Ray, We both published about change today. You may have written your post in your head several days ago. I wrote mine perhaps a week ago. But yes I do find that many blogs focus on the same topics. We humans are not all that far removed from each other.

Change is a given, and it seems to be only accelerating. And you’re spot on, you can either fight it every step of the way or you can, if not embrace it, find the upside. This is a very timely post for me, personally, and I appreciate you writing it. I’m going to be heading through some major work changes – willingly, but not (long story) – and I’ve decided to approach it as an opportunity to get better. Not always easy, but completely necessary. Thank you, Jim.

Sue,
I know you and know you will manage and strategize your coming changes perfectly ๐ You’re welcome for the writing of this post. These are the easy ones when I observe and report.
