We can’t quite believe that #shehechat is entering its sixth week! We’ve been quite pleased with the participation so far and, as you’ve requested, we’re going to announce our topics for tonight’s chat ahead of time in this post. However, we have yet another twist for you.
Jim and I were talking the other day and we started wondering how well you all know us by now. Do you read the topics and predict what each of us will say beforehand? Are you able to pick a side before the chat even begins? If you can, that doesn’t bother us. But we did come up with a little game for this week just to see where we stand.
It’s a simple game really
Jim and I picked two topics that refer to something that happened to us during the last week in our social media spaces. (If you were paying attention to our Twitter timelines and/or Facebook statuses in the last week, this might be quite easy for you.)
Twenty minutes of our hour-long chat will be dedicated to each of our two chosen topics. The topics are listed below with the first tweet response from each of us. You have to choose whose tweet is whose by commenting on this post. If you’re right, you might be the person who gets to dictate the social media topic for the last 20 minutes of the hour. (Plus, you’ll get huge accolades from us via Twitter!) All we ask is that the topic you pick is appropriate and that it pertains to social media in some way.
You have until 5 p.m. CST today to “Name Those Tweets.”
With no further ado, here are tonight’s first two topics (remember the last topic of the night is up to the winner):
1) How into gamification are you? Does it tickle you to score 17 points with one checkin on Foursquare?
Tweet A: “The gamification is fun but I don’t really care about the score.”
Tweet B: “Changes in the gamification of an app like Foursquare can re-spark my interest in an otherwise abandoned app.”
2) How personal do you get in social media? How much is too much?
Tweet A: “I think my opinion on this topic changes with my mood and the time of day. You’ll find out more about me after dark.”
Tweet B: “Apparently being negative about personal life is out of character for me. I was called out earlier this week.”
Just comment on this post to “Name Those Tweets” by 3 p.m. CST today and you might be the lucky one to lead Jim and me into the third conversation during #shehechat tonight!
If you’re new to #shehechat, here is some background:
